A Hilton Head, SC Destination Wedding with Lighthouse Views
After meeting through work and bonding over "all things nerdy", Lillie and Garth traveled to Hilton Head together twice (the second time culminating in their engagement!) So, the two planned a destination wedding at Harbour Town Yacht Club in Sea Pines to honor the journey of their relationship. Friends and family made the journey from all over to celebrate the happy couple, in view of the spot where Garth proposed (lighthouse and all).
Lillie and Garth tied the knot at St. Andrew-by-the-Sea, while views of the harbor and Harbour Town's iconic lighthouse graced the couple's first look, dances, and cocktail hour. The light blue color palette and sand dollars in the table arrangements complemented the seaside setting beautifully.
One of my favorite things about Lillie & Garth's wedding is how elegantly they incorporated little nods to the things they love together as a couple! For example, the table numbers at their reception were book pages (a nod to their careers in publishing). Their rings reference BOTH Kingdom Hearts and, with the inscription inside, Star Wars. And -- obviously not pictured here, but a moment I loved and have to tell you about nonetheless -- the couple's ceremony processional was "Concerning Hobbits" from Lord of the Rings (played on the organ!)
