Hannah Lockaby

I fell in love with photography as a means of storytelling. Stories have always been my world - I spent my entire childhood buried in books, lost in fantasy worlds or historical tales.

As I grew up, photography became a way to connect with other people and tell their stories (as well as mine.)

Every time I pick up my camera, I’m grateful to have a part in recording stories that will be told for generations.

My philosophy

PEOPLE FIRST PHOTOGRAPHY

No matter how gorgeous the florals, the venue, the invitation suite and flat lay --  the photos you'll return to time and time again depict the moments you spend with the people who mean everything to you.

Your wedding day isn't primarily a photoshoot, and I don't want it to feel like one. While every aspect of the day is important, I never want to lose sight of the beautiful souls at the heart of it all.
