Mountain Views and Vintage Gowns
I'm blessed to have the opportunity to photograph at Pretty Place Chapel multiple times of year -- it stuns in every season and kind of weather. However, I couldn't have dialed it in any more perfectly for Sydney and Jake's September nuptials! The couple planned a wedding day that was simple and faith focused, choosing to let the beauty of creation serve as the backdrop as they took communion together and said their vows.
If you know anything about me, you'll know that I'm a huge fan of all things vintage and incorporating personal meaning into a day - so I mean it when I say Sydney's vintage wedding gown was my favorite detail of this entire wedding! The bride's aunt lovingly reworked this elegant dress into a bespoke ball gown that felt timeless, yet fresh and perfect for Sydney. I could not be more obsessed!
The pair said their I do's surrounded by their friends and family and marvelous views of the Blue Ridge mountains, then made the short trek to Traveler's Rest, SC, to continue the celebration at Top Soil Restaurant - another example of modern vintage goodness - for food and fellowship.
Congratulations, Sydney & Jake -- wishing you a lifetime of happiness together!
